Oostend – Statistics & current form

It is becoming more and more of a trend for young German players and coaches to migrate to Belgium in order to earn important spurs in their careers there. With Alexander Blessin, KV Oostende has unleashed a youth coach from RB Leipzig, who also has two German talents in the squad with Frederik Jäkel and Nick Bätzer.

Up to this point, however, the German coach’s commitment has not been successful. Two defeats in two games are the result of the season so far. Overall, Oostende has been without a win in the Jupiler League since February 1, when it was a three-point against Sint-Truidense.
