The 6th matchday of the Premier League is just around the corner – and the table constellation could hardly seem stranger: Everton leads the table, followed by Aston Villa, Manchester City are currently in 11th place – and ManUnited even in 15th Devils will play the top game against Chelsea at the weekend, the other (supposed) top teams have an easier time. What can we expect on matchday 6?
Manchester United vs Chelsea FC Betting Odds and Predictions
What’s wrong with ManUnited? The Red Devils only got six points from the first four games, which is just enough for 15th place. Worse than the mere record, however, was the loss of morale that resulted from the bust against Tottenham. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s team lost 1: 6 against their top rivals. One to six! Since they lost against Crystal Palace (1: 3) on the first day of the match, United are missing important points – already now. After all: with a 4-1 win against Newcastle United, the team returned with a strong reaction in the league – and only a few days later they celebrated their biggest success of the season so far: a 2-1 win against Paris St. Germain. In the Champions League duel with last year’s finalists, United presented themselves at eye level, tended to be the better team, which is why the overall success was deserved. Fun Fact: The Red Devils scored all three goals themselves; a penalty by Fernandes, an own goal by Martial – and the winning goal by Rashford.
Keyword goals: Timo Werner finally got them! After the Chelsea newcomer failed to score a Premier League goal for four-game days, they celebrated a brace against Southampton last weekend. Both goals were technically demanding and proof of Werner’s football skills. The problem: Despite three hits, the team did not get beyond a 1-1 draw, which means it is stagnant in the table. The Blues currently occupy 8th place, which is significantly better than ManUnited’s 15th place – but still far below their own expectations. Eight points from five games are clearly too few for the record buyers of last summer, so both clubs are under pressure next Saturday.
We expect a game in which the strengths and weaknesses of both teams come into their own: Both Chelsea and United have so far been defensively vulnerable, but offensive enough to play. From our point of view, therefore, a game with an open visor is looming, in which there will be some chances to see and also some goals to be celebrated.

Arsenal FC vs Leicester City Betting Odds and Predictions
Leicester City against Arsenal – currently that means fourth against fifth. The fact that the Foxes are currently better positioned than the London competitor is solely due to the better goal difference. In terms of points, the teams are tied with nine points. Nevertheless, clear differences can be seen – when you look back at longer intervals: Here Arsenal has eight wins from the last ten games, whereas Leicester lost six out of ten. Of the last four competitive games, Brendan Rodgers’ team was beaten three times – including against Arsenal.
In the third round of the League Cup, the Gunners prevailed 2-0, a deserved victory after an unspectacular 90 minutes. About three weeks have passed since this encounter – but before the rematch, there is little to suggest revenge. On the contrary: Arsenal looked clearly fresher and livelier in the past games, which is why we expect the Gunners to break away in the table – thanks to the next sovereign win against Leicester.

Liverpool FC vs Sheffield United Betting Odds and Predictions
Things are not really going well in Liverpool, compared to the previous year: In the league cup they failed in the round of 16 (4-5 vs. Arsenal), in the league they are “only” 3rd – and on top of that they conceded the 4th matchday the biggest defeat in over 50 years: 2: 7 against Aston Villa. It was one of those days when absolutely nothing would work. More than half of all goals conceded resulted from deflected shots or similar unfortunate actions, in turn, almost nothing would succeed in one’s own attack. In the Merseyside Derby that followed, the team did not seem to be fully up to par: it was 2-2 after 90 intense minutes against Everton, which is why the city rivals were unable to steal the championship lead.
Last Wednesday, the team finally made their debut in the Champions League – and didn’t get beyond a tired 1-0 win against Ajax Amsterdam. The fact that an own goal sealed the Liverpool victory is emblematic of the uninspired appearance of the Reds, who had to do without Virgil van Dijk for the first time since his transfer: The defence chief injured his knee badly against Everton and will be out for months. After all, the central defender should hardly be missed against Sheffield. With two goals, the team is the worst offensive in the league. The 19th of the table should prove to be a welcome opponent for Liverpool FC.

Against Leeds, Villa must dominate the ball again for the first time in a long time – but the team has already demonstrated this ability. Nothing stands in the way of a continuation of the winning streak.
