La Liga tips and overview (Matchday 30)
Two games have already been played in the Spanish Primera Division since the re-start last weekend and the game goes on without a break. The 30th round begins on Friday, which will of course focus on the duel for the championship.
So far, FC Barcelona and Real Madrid have not been naked since the resumption of play and have won two victories each. Barca is still two points ahead of Real and has the title defense in their own hands. But there is still a long way to go. The 30th matchday could be a trend-setting in the final accounts, since the two top clubs are each faced with high away hurdles.
Barca and Real take third and fourth place among contenders, who are highly sought after and contested due to the qualification for the Champions League. The large group of candidates currently goes from third-placed FC Sevilla with 51 points to FC Granada, which is ninth with 42 points. We look at the title duel below, but also have the premier class qualification in mind.

FC Sevilla vs FC Barcelona Betting Odds and Prediction

With the two bottom line victories at RCD Mallorca (4: 0) and against CD Leganes (2: 0), FC Barcelona has underlined its plan to defend the championship. In particular, the shape of Lionel Messi, who has so far made an excellent impression after the Corona break, gives the Catalans hope that not only the championship but also the Champions League can be won in August. That Luis Suarez, who would not have been able to play a game at the end of a normal season, is fit again after his knee surgery and that the entire squad is available except for Ousmane Dembele could also be a trump in the final sprint. Especially since the coach Quique Setien, who only came in January, apparently used the three months without a game to hone his team’s game.
At FC Sevilla, however, Barca is now facing one of the highest hurdles on the way to the championship. Although the Andalucians will surely miss the always enthusiastic crowd in their backs, victories in Seville cannot be achieved in passing. Sevilla definitely has nothing to give away, as they still need a few points to qualify for the Champions League. The current third place is an excellent starting position, but blunders like the one at UD Levante on Monday evening, when the 1: 1 draw was conceded late, should not happen too often in the last weeks of the season. After all, there are a handful of teams that would also like to play in the premier class next season.
With Barca, of course, Sevilla has a tough nut to crack that could ultimately prove too hard. Looking at the Catalans’ first two appearances since the restart, we believe that Messi and Co. will also win in Seville.

Atletico Madrid vs Real Valladolid Betting Odds and Prediction

After the mixed re-start with a 1-1 at Athletic Bilbao, Atletico Madrid made a convincing appearance on Wednesday and landed a 5-0 win at CA Osasuna. Certainly not a typical result for the Colchoneros, whose goal difference of 37:22 clearly reflects the existing qualities and deficits. The appearance in Osasuna has now fueled the hope that the knot has burst openly. In particular, the double pack of young star Joao Felix, who has only partially shown his great potential since his signing up with Benfica Lisbon, serves as a stimulator in the still tight race for the Champions League.
A home win is now expected against Real Valladolid. However, Valladolid has presented itself appealingly since the game resumed. A 2-1 win at CD Leganes was followed by a 0-0 win against Celta Vigo during the week, which kept a direct competitor in the rear third of the table at a distance. The starting position in the race for relegation is still very good with an eight point lead over relegation place 18.
However, despite the good impressions that Valladolid has left over the past few days, we do not really believe in a surprise in Madrid. Rather, we see Atletico clearly in the favorite role in our own stadium despite the lack of spectators and expect a home win.

Real Sociedad vs Real Madrid Betting Odds and Prediction

Real Madrid were convincing against the SD Eibar for 37 minutes at the restart and shot out a quick 3-0 lead. After 90 minutes there was only a 3: 1 and a dissatisfied coach Zinedine Zidane in the second half. The French football teacher is likely to have been reconciled on Thursday evening, however, when his team delivered a consistently strong performance in 3-0 against Valencia CF.
Real Sociedad San Sebastian cannot say that. The Basques are still struggling after the restart and, after an already disappointing 1-1 against CA Osasuna, suffered a 0-2 defeat at Deportivo Alaves on Thursday. The crash to sixth place was the consequence and now puts some pressure before the Real Madrid appearance. Because another defeat could cause San Sebastian to slide even further.
However, there is a lot to be said for this after the first appearances of both teams. Real Madrid seem to be in good shape and will win in San Sebastian with a similar performance to Valencia.
